The Year we Bought a Café. My wife became a business owner on 1/1/2023, fulfilling a long held dream of owning her own café. The reality of running a café and ten employees is immense but has also provided our family with a place in the community. We now often joke that when we finally decided to settle down, we did not lay down roots. We bought them.

Flying Home. I flew back to Colorado for my father’s surgery where he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I wrote this as I flew back home. I finally feel like I can share now that we are on the other side.

2023 in Review. I did not write much this year outside of my multiple journals. It was such a busy year where I learned a lot about my family and myself.
