The Year I Lost the Weight. Started Wegovy in June. Most my writings this year are about my journey.

2023
The Year we Bought a Café. My wife became a business owner on 1/1/2023, fulfilling a long held dream of owning her own café. The reality of running a café and ten employees is immense but has also provided our family with a place in the community. We now often joke that when we finally decided to settle down, we did not lay down roots. We bought them.

2022
The Year of Toddlers. As Covid ebbed, the boys headed to daycare and preschool. Their ability to communicate exceled dramatically. We traveled to Mexico. We settled into our chosen home of Washington State and absolutely loved it.

2021|
The Year Everything Changed. My wife had a stroke. I got promoted. We moved to Tacoma, Washington. Our car got stolen. We bought a house. We realized our son is on the spectrum. All during the second year of the pandemic.

2020
The Year of the Pandemic. We moved to Colorado Springs around the time we learned we were expecting our second born.  Then the pandemic hit.  What a year…
