waiting for the bus
dreaming of my bed back home
pillows are waiting

stacking sugar cubes
upon the café table
sharing with flies

nothing’s harder than
learning to like who you are
take the time to try

coffee warms my soul
people-watching is the sport
Stadium Café

eyes give her away
she’s lost in the crowd today
scared of a wrong turn

craving to be touched
will your hand graze across skin?
let me remember

sharing a moment
honest about what we want
mutually selfish

i miss your touch so
curling up to a pillow
wishing it were you
