empty pages taunt
pens call out in dead of night
it’s a writer’s world

slippery when wet
try hard not to miss a step
tiptoe when needed

Choices build up worlds
Good or bad—never stop choosing
Life belongs to you

Never live in fear
Just use it to overcome
Your life will change, indeed

Time to say goodbye
Don’t fret on the days passed
Bask in the moment

When living alone
Convince me I’m not crazy
Tell yourself you’re sane

Shutdown Washington
Ignore problems you create
Babies Evermore

“Internet is air,”
He told me as we Skyped
Till bandwidth caught up

My bladder is full
Eyes barely open as I
Stumble through the house

When I turn to dust
May I ask for a favor?
